I had not used OneNote, Microsoft's offering for those who need to get and stay organized while leaving paper behind and sticking to their laptop, tablet or desktop. Organization is one of my things, I have to keep everything organized and in order. My clients would not want me to be disorganized, that's for sure. I've got plenty of reasons to use OneNote but never have until now! I wasn't really sure what it was for before but now I do.As always, Ace delivers an informative, easy-to-read, easy-to-understand educational book for people who have or have not used this program. OneNote users can still benefit from the book because there are probably things about the program they didn't even know they could use! I suggest grabbing a copy of this to help you get your personal or business matters organized without having to use a pen and paper!
First of all, this isn't a book, it's more like a pamphlet. 18 pages of actual content printed in a VERY LARGE TYPEFACE. I guess that makes it an easy, quick read.Having upgraded to a new version of OneNote, I was hoping for something that would give me information about dealing with the interface with OneDrive. This book is a very generic introduction to OneNote and is not version specific.It's really more like a list of tips and keyboard shortcuts. Maybe that's good for brand new users of OneNote, but there was little in this book that I did not know already.Asked for (and received) a refund. Going to look for a more comprehensive text.
Wow- why didn't I read the other reviews more closely??? This book is a rip-off with only 20 pages of extremely basic content, no pictures or screen shots, and contrary to what other one-star reviewers have said, it has LESS content than the help button in the app. Looking closely at the 5 star reviews that propel the high rating of this item they refer glowingly to the utility of the One Note app, NOT this silly book.
